Mint on Card

Hasbro has made available single carded, repaints, of some of its earlier figures in its Valor VS Venom line. These figures, mainly available at stores like Family Dollar, are hit and miss. The Alley Viper II, while cool, is a complete miss.

So why is it cool, but a miss? For starters, it's the most recent Alley Viper mold, used in the VvsV line back in Wave 1. The figure looked ok, but seemed a little tall and elongated, and I was never a fan of the armor styling. However, the red version of this formerly blue Viper makes it stand out a little more, and helps the overall look of the figure. So even though I like the color scheme, I am disappointed that it's this mold of the Alley Viper.

Bottom Line

Bottom Line - If you are an army builder, or have a few of the blue version of this mold in your army, I suggest maybe 1 or 2 of these guys as squad leaders. Otherwise, its one you can skip and not worry about hunting down in Family Dollar stores or on online auctions.
