So last week here for TheToyRoom-REDUX.com, and our sister site, TheBreauxShow.com was a little crazy what with the birthday of TheMatrix8475 here and all, so that’s why we are a day late with our weekly update here! So let’s go!
I finally got to see Sucker Punch this past weekend, and it was an ‘ok’ movie. Not great, but not half bad either. I also followed an old tradition of mine of going to see a movie by myself I wouldn’t normally see. How often is this? Every year around my birthday of course! April 11 (yesterday) was my birthday, suffice it to say I am a year older now, and I will go see a movie in the theater I might not normally see otherwise. In years past I have seen Lost in Space (fun surprising flick), Girl Next Door (silly fun, and not too raunchy), and even Hannah Montana: The Movie (don’t laugh…ok, go ahead, laugh, I liked the movie still). So this year I went to go see Your Highness, thinking it would be hidden brilliant comedy. What did I think of it…tune in to this week’s episode of The Breaux Show to find out in the Movie Minute review.
Here’s a hint – I will need less than 10 seconds to review the film, give or take 5 seconds.
So last week of course we added a new Beast Warped Comic, and a new episode of The Breaux Show went up, and I put together a new Two Minute Toy Review of the Star Wars Vintage styled figure of Yoda, from Revenge of the Sith. The written review for Yoda, along with a couple of other overdue written reviews for other toy review videos done should go up as well. Who get’s reviewed this week? I think it might be another Jedi, one who carries a green lightsaber….or two…
As for this week, I am playing catch up in my spring cleaning at home, so not much else will be happening other than the show production this week for The Breaux Show. I did get out and about this weekend though a little bit more and found some other cool toys, some that might find themselves featured here. I did even find some GI Joe 25th Anniversary figures at a local chain of stores here called Five Below, priced at $4 each. I saw ones like the BAT Troopers, Major Bludd, and even Tiger Force Duke. Not a bad find, and all for $4 each. If you have a Five Below near you, and like GI Joe, might be time to start checking the stores out.
That’s it for today, as always if you have any ideas, comments, or questions, leave them below or email me at TheMatrix8475@thetoyroom-redux, or even email me at host@thebreauxshow.com.
Rock on everybody!!!
